Our stay in Palazzo Charlie was everything we hoped for in our stay in Lecce. Perfect location in the old town, the views from our room were gorgeous. Despite being on main tourist route our room was very quiet. The whole space was beautifully furnished and so relaxing. Manon was also so helpful booking airport transfer and allowing us to store luggage when we arrived. Also her knowledge of the city was much appreciated. The breakfast was also delicious, Charlie's museli being a real highlight.
The Palazzo Charlie was an unforgettable experience. The host were welcoming, warm and very attentive. Their attention to detail and profound love for what they do emulates in every breath, and every corner of their beautiful guest house. I particularly love the beautifully curated room with fine artworks and furnishing, and speaks volumes of their fine taste. Manon and Charlie, thank you for making us feel so very welcomed and looked after. You are truly sublime and exquisite hosts and we hope to come back soon.
Palazzo Charlie exceeded all of my expectations and I thoroughly enjoyed every part of my stay there. The location is prime, right in the old city and central to all the attractions with great restaurants nearby. We stayed in the king suite with a balcony overlooking the main street, which was extremely spacious and tastefully decorated. The style of the suite perfectly blended the historic architecture with modern furnishings, and every piece of detail was so well thought out. It is a rare accommodation that is inviting, comforting and makes you feel at home, yet garnished with luxury in a way that will make you feel transformed. The best part of the stay were the hosts, Charlie and Manon. They were so warm, kind and generous with their time and care, and made us feel so welcomed in their space. They curated the most incredible breakfast experience, a five course meal with the freshest ingredients, and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Charlie and Manon over breakfast about their four year journey to bring their vision of Palazzo Charlie to life, their life in Lecce, and their personal stories who made us appreciate them even more for who they are. A gem in prime location of the old town of Lexie. Memorable stay in this exclusive boutique b&b. Manon and Charlie are great hosts and go beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast is served in 5 courses with thoroughly selected ingredients from the best local vendors. Some of the ingredients you get to enjoy comes straight from the garden of the couple’s country home. The suits are silent, bed is comfortable and the whole place is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend!
